Welcome the holiday season during year’s annual Downtown Decatur Christmas Walk on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, from 5 to 8 pm.
Bring the family to enjoy holiday treats, music, activities, and, of course, shopping!
- Stroll from store to store throughout downtown to find that perfect gift.
- Marvel at the brightly lit downtown streets.
- Visit Santa Claus in the Transfer House.
- Ride the downtown trolley.
- Listen to holiday music and carolers at Decatur Area Arts Council, Central Park, Giggles, Hickory Point Bank, Lincoln Theater, Merle Norman Cosmetics, and Decatur Brew Works.
- Participate in crafts and games at the Decatur Public Library.
- Meet costumed characters at Hickory Point Bank.
- Sit for the caricature artist at Art+Market.
- Stroll along Christmas Card Lane in Preston Jackson Park.
- Bask in the glow of the majestic Christmas tree at the Decatur Civic Center.
- Pick up a snack at the food truck at Central Park.
- Sample cookies and cocoa wherever you find them.
